Versie 3.17 van Movable Type, het blogplatform van Six Apart, is vanaf nu te downloaden.  Erg veel nieuwe features zitten er niet in deze release, het gaat meer om een aantal kleine, maar kritieke bugfixes om problemen op te lossen waar een klein aantal gebruikers mee kampte.  Binnenkort komt overigens Movable Type 3.20 uit, en deze release zal wel een heel pakket aan nieuwe features bevatten.

Zoals steeds is er ook een gratis versie voor beperkt persoonlijk gebruik te downloaden.  Voor wie geen eigen webserver heeft, of opziet tegen het technisch aspect van het opzetten van een weblog, is er natuurlijk nog altijd TypePad, de gehoste weblogdienst van Six Apart.
