Movable Type 4.0: release candidate één!

De beta-periode van Movable Type 4 loopt naar z'n einde toe, want gisterenavond laat werd Release Candidate 1 op de wereld losgelaten. 

Sinds de vorige beta vorige week is er nog een interessante toevoeging gebeurd aan de opties.  De (vroeger los staande) RebuildQueue plugin is namelijk geïntegreerd (in het Nederlands heet die nu 'Publicatiewachtrij').  Hierdoor combineert Movable Type de snelheid van dynamisch publiceren met de schaalbaarheid van statisch publiceren.  Deze plugin werd tot nu toe vooral gebruikt door grote mediabedrijven met megablogs, maar nu is de functie voor iedereen beschikbaar...
