De Standaard het volgende doelwit van SABAM?

De Standaard meldt dat de muziekwebsite Cutting Edge onder druk van SABAM alle embedded YouTube filmpjes van z'n pagina's heeft verwijderd. Ze moesten blijkbaar ook een boete betalen.  Verder in het artikel dit citaat:

Woordvoerder Thierry Dachelet van Sabam benadrukt dat dit niet betekent dat er een heksenjacht op bloggers geopend wordt. 'Zelfs al zou je vragen kunnen hebben bij het gebruik van dergelijk materiaal door individuele bloggers, past dat vooralsnog niet in onze huidige strategie.' Sabam mikt in eerste instantie op sites waar een inkomstenmodel achterzit, volgens Dachelet. 

Da's een hele geruststelling voor ons bloggers, die huidige strategie.  Maar De Standaard mag zich zorgen beginnen maken: ik neem aan dat ze daar over een inkomstenmodel beschikken, en toch durven ze schaamteloos Belgische artiesten promoten op hun website, met embedded YouTube filmpje en al, zonder te betalen!
