Lijst Dedecker is tegen elke vorm van regzelgeving waarvan de afdwingbaarheid hoogst twijfelachtig is. Bij de technische haalbaarheid van internetfiltering zijn inderdaad vragen te stellen. Op een meer fundamenteel vlak wil LDD naar analogie met het First Amendment in de Amerikaanse Grondwet waarborgen voor de vrijheid van meningsuiting in ruime zin ook in onze Grondwet inschrijven. Een democratie heeft immers nood aan ongebruikelijke, ongangbare en sterk afwijkende meningen. Waar een opinie een delict wordt, klopt de dictatuur aan de deur.
De vrijheid van meningsuiting stopt waar opgeroepen wordt tot geweld of tot het plegen van misdrijven. Alleen de onafhankelijke rechtspraak is in België bevoegd om ieders recht zijn visie te verkondigen af te wegen; daarvoor is geen gedachtepolitie op internet nodig.
Een derde partij heeft ondertussen ook al beloofd te antwoorden maar ze hadden nog wat tijd nodig wegens drukke campagnebezigheden. Curieus of er nog wat komt van de andere partijen ook...Informatie over ons partijprogramma vind je op www.ldd.be.
