So Long, TypePad Support, and Thanks for all the Fish...

Na negen jaar ondersteuning in het Nederlands (en een aantal andere Europese talen) trekt Say Media de stekker uit de meertalige support voor TypePad.  Er is nog nergens een officiële aankondiging op de website maar de mails naar klanten worden op dit moment verstuurd dus kan ik het nu wel bloggen vond ik.

Op 30 april is het afgelopen met de anderstalige support op TypePad.  Wie verder nog hulp nodig heeft zal aangewezen zijn op support in het Engels.  Als tegemoetkoming wordt TypePad wel gratis voor alle bestaande Europese klanten, dat dan weer wel.

Voor mij persoonlijk betekent dit het einde van negen jaar waarin ik de Vlaamse en Nederlandse TypePad gebruikers heb ondersteund: eerst bijna zes jaar bij Six Apart en daarna nog eens drie jaar als zelfstandige subcontractor.  Toch een hele periode als ik er zo op terugkijk.

Al was mijn werk voor TypePad de laatste jaren maar een (klein) deeltje van mijn werktijd/inkomen meer, ik ga het toch missen... Het ga jullie goed, Vlaamse en Nederlandse TypePadders!

Zelf ben ik van plan nog een hele tijd op TypePad te blijven.  Gratis en reclamevrij mijn blog hosten, dat is mooi meegenomen.  En wie weet kan ik af en toe nog wel eens iemand voorthelpen...
